The Woolverstone Project

The Woolverstone Project is a registered charity providing sailing opportunities and tuition for those with disabilities throughout the year at Alton Water and, during the summer months, at Woolverstone on the River Orwell. The organisation, whose Patron is the well-known broadcaster, Paul Heiney, is run entirely by volunteers, who are on hand to take the sailors out on the water, help them in and out of the dinghies and to provide refreshments during the sessions.
