Crossing the Southern North Sea – avoiding the obstacles
In this workshop we will look at the various crossing routes across the North Sea and look at the issues around those crossings – wind farms, gas rigs, TSS schemes, fair weather and poor weather ports, timings and so on. The issues covered will include:
- Main crossing routes:
- Lowestoft to Ramsgate
- Den Helder to Dunkirk.
- How to avoid wind farms and gas rigs
- Negotiating TSS and
- Optimising tides.
